hey dock, i was wondering if they were going to loosen up the rules a little on the gold rush for the bodies and mud flaps etc to let some of the out of town cars come in this year. it would be fun if all of the cars ran all of the end of year shows without worry since we all have to pull so far. seems like maybe if you are a member and legal at one of the n.nevada tracks that maybe they could honor those rules? all of them are pretty close. if you police c.c.'s to weight, tires, carb, production based chassis, and safety, we should all be on the same page i think.

we did change our rules on the body you can now run after market body's you can run an imca body if you want. the suspension is steel stock for what ever car your chassis was but we do allow coil overs on the front and you can cut the old spring tub out for the coil overs the rear must be stock if the car had leaf springs that's what you must run or if it was control arms stock you can run those. we used to run the three tracks winn b.m. and elko but winn outlawed our rear radiators so we cant run there any more but i would like to go to lovelock some time this season with the mini but i need to check with them on our radiators to see if they are legal. i have always wonted to get a mini series going in the north but can't seem to get all the tracks aboard. i would like to see 2 races at each track through the season could be a two day race some time in the season i think most tracks have a two day race some time in the season. enough for know. if you have any ? about elko let me know. have a good week

i like that idea. i have been talking to a couple of businesses about sponsoring the class but with everything being so scattered and me not being able to run much this season i kinda let it go. maybe i or someone else could get $800-1000 in addition to the normal purse paid by the track for each even seperately and have it go to the car or cars that gets the most points combined from the dirt track championship, the silver cup and gold rush combined. it will encourage all of us to hit all of the big races. let me see what i can do. its been a frustrating year for me but i hope to be on track sometime this summer andd be able to race more.
