got the pan off today and no lash caps in the pan  looked in every nook and crannie and still nothin, just about to give up  when i caught something out of the corner of my eye, they were in the oil pick up between the screen and body, I pulled them out with a piece of wire and sealed her back up!! THANK GOD!!! ;D hopefully by weekends end the head will be back on and the motor back in ready to break in the new cam and followers, and we will see everybody next weekend.  |

Lash caps? Followers? Wow sounds like some high tech business you got going on there Larry. lol I should have the old peanut all revamped and ready, couldn't get a pull bar set-up in time so I am just going to use lots of bungy cords! Should help me pull up off the corner better!

That was the one thing I hated about running a 2.3 was the d**n lash caps. Had to constantly keep the valves perfectly adjusted or they would shatter. I Went through several cams and followers because of them.....

Oh the wheels are turning now, the kids broke the trampoline yesterday, going to use the springs instead of bungy cords they will be less temperature sensitive!

so every night this last week i have been straightening? the fins on my radiator with an ice pick and pliers only like 15 rows to go. may have it done by the end of next week. man just trying to save a buck. the radiator shop wants 300 to do it and now i know why lol......

Seeing how I had my radiator built exactly like yours, will you do mine, Cause you definately know your way around it. lol Anyone got a tube for a mini bike tire, I need it for my trampoline spring set-up. Its vital cause we can only run 4 shocks.

dennis yesterday at summit they had 4 or 5 aluminum 4 core radiaters on the dicount bench for like 50.00, and Will i have an extra set of crome muffler bearings you can have if you need them for your car. lol. also went to zero the new cam and the adjustable cam pulley keyway is hammered and slops around at least a couple of degrees so i will have top wait till monday to get a new one from esslinger which if its over night i could possibly have it broke in by mid week if alls goes accordingly. YA FRIGEN RIGHT!!!!
